It was nice meeting you at the hospital party, Doctor. Perhaps another opportunity will rise soon enough.

I've spoken to your suggested colleague. She's quite the character I must say. A trump to your deck perhaps? Ha ha ha.

[Action log: &Cassagioso]
[Tonight had been the first night for the past few days that Aion had really spoken to anyone. Lost in his thoughts and aggravated beyond any word that can describe it, he spent most of his nights at Cassagioso, downing a bottle of liquor to ease himself while he tried to formulate plan B. Chrno's return to the City rose new issues for what he had in store. He had once used a foreseer, Mary Magdalene, and now there were three more who've claimed they've seen the future; That they are also aware of the 'truth'. All from his world. The best course of action is to use that to his advantage but this sense of uncertainty drove him wild. His confidence shattered and plans getting out of hand, out of his control, was infuriating the Sinner the most.
Besides, it was now that he knew of everything. Well, almost everything. Aion took another sip of his drink as he heavily sighed. He leaned back in his chair and massaged his temples with one hand as it slipped underneath his glasses. Sliding it back down after a minute or two and covering his mouth, his deadly eyes stared at the wall in front of him as he thought further. What was he to do now? It sounded as though Chrno had left with the knowledge of the City. Was he able to change the future? There were many things he needed to ask him but he wanted to be spared of the family crap. His dulled sword now beyond repairable. The expectations he had of him were shot, only leaving him an empty shell. At least this City was good for shopping for another. The only problem left was to figure out how to export one with him; A deadly weapon that can make his tasks ten times easier. There had to be a way even if he was told he couldn't. He phoned a few for starters and went back to his drink to end the night. There was still a half a bottle left after all.]
[ooc: Action log open to anyone though I'm going to assume that each interaction takes place at different times. One leaves and the next person enters just to keep it simple and I'd prefer no wreaking of havoc or provoking the poor sinner till he takes extensive action unless you've got an idea you want to share with me~<33 Just let me know! Thanks~<333]

Date: 2009-09-14 06:21 am (UTC)A soldier I take it. Ha ha ha. Interesting. Though once you've learned its feeling on your fingers tips, the battlefield becomes your only comfort, isn't that right? [He curiously eyed him more.]
action;
Date: 2009-09-14 06:40 am (UTC)Lockon looked back at him, flatly, serious for the first time.]
There isn't any comfort there. I'm glad it's over, for me.
action;
Date: 2009-09-14 10:09 pm (UTC)Is that so? And what exactly were you fighting for? [He took another sip.]
action;
Date: 2009-09-14 10:43 pm (UTC)I was fighting for the past. It wasn't a good idea, in the end.
action;
Date: 2009-09-15 05:51 am (UTC)What reason would there be for it not to be a 'good idea'? There was a drive after all wasn't there? Or [A pause.] was it all for nothing?
action;
Date: 2009-09-15 06:04 am (UTC)It wasn't for nothing, but if I'd done it differently, maybe things would have been better. There's no use worrying about that now, though. Did you want another drink?
action;
Date: 2009-09-15 07:39 am (UTC)There are always ways to rectify something with just the right resources.
[He then downed the last of the drink he was given. He'd have to keep him in mind, that was certain.]
No, it's all right. The bottle I have will do for now.
