Clenching his head, he furrowed until the pain subsided again. Something wasn't right. He didn't understand why that was happening so often and whenever he thought of his past or present goal. Shaking his head, he took a sip, allowing his conversation to die and changing the focus.]

Aa... Lilith, good luck to you as well in saving those in need. I noticed you've been coming home later than usual. They must be keeping you busy at the hospital.

From:

Freedom? I see. [She finished her drink quietly in quick but meager sips.]

There's a flu season, Aion, the Hospital is swarmed with pneumonia cases from those who didn't take care of themselves. But I don't mind, helping others to heal is what a doctor does. Did I keep you waiting? I am sorry if I did.

From:

You always like to help people, don't you, Lilith?

From:

Like I said, it's just something I noticed. No need to apologize.

[Aion silently listened on as he finished his drink.]

From:

Don't you like it, Chrono? That's my reason to exist.

From:

Helping people? Yeah...I do.

From:

[Rolling his eyes to the sappy talk, Aion decided to order another drink. It was nice helping people and all but he prioritized differently. It was hard enough trying to help himself... help... freedom.]

From:

Don't drink too much, dear.

[That was a scold after catching his eye rolling.]

Or I would have to carry you home with Chrono.

From:

[Chrono laughed before taking another swallow of his drink, leaning forward to grin at Aion.]

Yeah. Then she'd be treating you like a child again.

From:

[The only face Aion could give to that was 'the look'. Just what the hell was the big idea, ganging up on him?]

Be quiet, brat. [Aion sacked Chrno on the head before taking his drink to have a sip.] Geez.

From:

[Lilith began to laugh at the exchange.]

He would remain a child no matter what.

From:

Ow! Hey! [he rubbed his head]

You're starting to act like Rosette...

From:

[Giving Lilith another look, he glanced towards Chrno as he hears his comment.]

Ha ha ha... Good. Then you should be used to it. [Aion teased, taking another big sip before looking down at his watch. 11pm.]

From:

It was you the one who suggested me to relax.

[She said in response of his look]

From:

You both need to relax.

[He sighed, taking a gulp from his glass before setting it aside for now. It was best to pace himself, after all. He leaned over slightly when Aion looked at his watch.]

What time is it?

From:

[He weakly smiled with a light chuckle.]

It's getting pretty late. Eleven already. We better head to the Ferris wheel if we still wanted to fit that in too. I think I also saw a sign that said there were going to be fireworks tonight. It should be nice seeing it from up there.

From:

[Eleven, she had to move quick to avoid a fight.]

At what time would be the fireworks?

From:

[Chrono glanced back and forth between Aion and Lilith. Fireworks, huh? Hmmmm...]

I think I saw a sign for them...near midnight, right?

From:

Yea. We should get going in case there's a long line.

[Aion finished his drink and stood up.]

From:

[Lilith ~~being the ONLY one with a job~~ paid for the drinks and stood after Aion]

From:

Alright, well...[Chrono got up and stretched, then walked out the bar, looking around for the Ferris wheel. While he looked, he started to come up with a plan. A little surprise for his best friend...]

From:

Thanks Lilith.

[Aion followed after Chrno, in order to search for the ride. Lightly yawning into his fist, he got in line as soon as they were there. He stared at the bright lights illuminating the area with a serene smile.]

It's pretty big.

From:

You're welcome.

[Lilith followed them and waited in line for their turn. If this took enough, Lilith could find an excuse to buy candy for Joshua and the kids and drag Aion or Chrono away with her to help her while the other remain in the line.]

The line seems to be intimidating. I wonder if we will even make it.

[Chrono smiled, leaning against the bar as the line slowly moved forward.] A lot of people get on at once. It might go faster than we think.
